HEALTH EQUITY AND ANTI-RACISM TRAINING
FOR HEALTH CARE PRACTITIONERS
A MORE EQUITABLE, INCLUSIVE AND ANTI-RACIST HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE.
The HEART Collaborative is a group of racialized interdisciplinary health professionals and educators who came together after identifying the need for a healthcare-specific anti-racism training in B.C.
Our work came about during the intersection of the COVID-19 pandemic and the widespread awareness of longstanding anti-black and anti-Indigenous racism. The pandemic and systemic racism are public health crises in which poor, migrant, and racialized individuals are disproportionately affected.
We believe that it is more important now more than ever to take action in challenging racism and injustice in the provision of health services.
We specialize in providing anti-racist & health equity training made for health care practitioners, by health care practitioners. All services offered will be tailored to the needs of your practice setting and are available in-person or virtually.
A completely customized training or workshop built specifically for your setting.
